Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Soluble CBD and the services we provide. By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About this site

Soluble CBD publishes editorial articles about water-soluble CBD (Canada), and operates a directory where qualifying businesses may list themselves. The site is provided for general informational and reference purposes.

2. Informational content only

The articles and other content on this site are educational in nature. They are not:

  • Medical, nutritional, or health advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet, supplement routine, or treatment.
  • Legal advice. Hemp and cannabis regulations vary by jurisdiction and change frequently. Consult a lawyer for advice specific to your situation.
  • Financial or investment advice.
  • Veterinary advice.

We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and up to date, but we make no warranty that any specific statement is current, complete, or applicable to your circumstances.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account or submit content. Where the site discusses regulated products (such as CBD), additional age verification or jurisdictional restrictions may apply.

4. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information.
  • Keeping your password secure.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that submit fraudulent listings, or that abuse other users.

5. Business listings

Businesses may submit listings to our directory. By submitting a listing, you:

  • Confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the authority to list the business.
  • Confirm that the business operates lawfully in its jurisdiction.
  • Grant us a non-exclusive licence to display the listing on the site, in search engines, and in promotional contexts associated with the site.
  • Agree that we may edit listings for clarity, formatting, or to comply with these Terms.

We reserve the right to refuse, edit, or remove any listing at our discretion. Reasons may include inaccurate claims, regulatory concerns, low quality, or conflict with our editorial standards.

6. Promoted listings

Promoted listings are clearly labelled. Promotion does not constitute endorsement of the underlying business or its products. Payment for a promoted listing buys placement and design treatment; it does not buy favourable editorial coverage.

Refunds for promoted listings, if any, are governed by the terms presented at the time of purchase. Disputed charges should be raised through our contact form in the first instance.

7. User-submitted content

If you submit content (a listing, a comment, a contact message, or any other material) you represent that:

  • You own the content or have the right to submit it.
  • The content does not violate any law, intellectual property right, or third party right.
  • The content is not defamatory, hateful, harassing, fraudulent, or otherwise abusive.

You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and adapt the content for the purpose of operating the site. You retain ownership of your content.

8. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape the site at a rate that damages performance for other visitors.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account or system.
  • Submit malware, exploits, or harmful code.
  • Use the site to promote illegal products in your jurisdiction or to circumvent regulation.
  • Impersonate any person or business.
  • Submit content that infringes copyright or trademark.

9. Intellectual property

The text, images, design, and code of the site (excluding user-submitted content and clearly attributed third-party material) are the property of Soluble CBD and its licensors. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back, in line with normal editorial citation practice. Republishing whole articles, scraping content to train commercial AI products, or substantial copying without permission is not permitted.

10. Third-party links

Our articles and listings may link to third-party websites. We have no control over external sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Linking does not imply endorsement.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Soluble CBD nor its operators, employees, or contributors will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility.

Our total liability for any direct damages, regardless of the cause, will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, or (b) 100 CAD.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Soluble CBD from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the site, or your infringement of any third party right.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought in the courts of Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent via the contact form.

These Terms are provided in plain language for clarity. They are not a substitute for legal advice. For advice about your specific obligations or rights, please consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.
